THE NUMBER AND SIZE OF ADS PLASTERING OUR PROFILES IS INSANE!! And you know when you click on the "x" in the upper right hand corner on other sites and the ad disappears? Well, on dA, doing so takes you to a full page ad asking us to buy a membership.

I lost my membership a while ago but I must admit I got used to the ads very quickly, and I don't see them anymore. Like most other websites.

Here on dA it`s all about the money... but there`s a simple solution for this problem!
If you use firefox, add the addon AdblockPlus and everything`s fine on your frontpage and while watching deviations

Don`t take such things too serious Sandy - life is short

Hi Joe! I've explained elsewhere, but I have a Mac and Safari works perfectly with it. FF doesn't. As far as taking things seriously, I like to state my views. I don't believe in sitting back, seeing things happening around me in my town or wherever or whatever and just be complacent. If we were all like that, this world would be a much sorrier place! Plus, I've never NOT had a membership so you can image what it felt like when I logged on and saw what people who don't have a membership have become used to!!

Yeah, ok I don`t use Safari, but maybe you`ll find an addon there too!?
I always used addblockPlus over the last years and so I never had really problems,
but yes you`re completely right, if all people had this attitude like you said,
the world would be a bit more fair.
It`s no nice topic what we are talking about, but the good thing is, that you`re
back on dA, for a short time!
