THE NUMBER AND SIZE OF ADS PLASTERING OUR PROFILES IS INSANE!! And you know when you click on the "x" in the upper right hand corner on other sites and the ad disappears? Well, on dA, doing so takes you to a full page ad asking us to buy a membership.

FIREFOX.

Hands down. Firefox with the "Add Block Plus" add-on feature.

*poof* ... no more ads and the one's you find, you can block with just a cursor click and a expandable box / window area to block said annoyances.

Very cool feature.

Works splendidly.

You can't do much about the comment-based ads, but they tend to be few and far between. As for the site ads, if you use firefox you should get the extension AdBlock Plus. It's the way to browse ad-free without a subscription. If you use Chrome I think there's an extension for that one too.

I have a Mac and when I do use FF, I run into too many annoyances so I really like to stick with Safari. I don't use the site anymore anyway. I'll let everyone else put up with the "nice" administrators here!
